How do guys flirt? What do they do?

I've had this one guy flirt with me and I flirted back but he did not like me.Later he started hanging out with this other girl more instead(I had fun flirting w/ him though). This other time I made a mistake. I liked this other guy and I told him I really like him on e-mail but he told me he didn't like me like that. I flirted with him but I don't think he flirted back. How can I tell if a guy is sincere? How can I tell how a shy-ish guy flirts? Thanks. :-)

some guys are really scared. they will flirt with you one minute, then be seen with another girl another minute. it doesn't mean that they don't like you, it's just that when they begin to feel (emotions) they run. it's really sad though because i know you run across some really nice guys but the second they begin to feel anything. they run. a shy-ish guy will usually do things that you wouldn't classify as flirting. they usually do things that are low-key or childish. like hitting you just to have a reason to touch you or talking about you in a mean way. it doesn't mean that they don't like you it's just that they don't know how to express themselves so they do little weird things that would make you think that they hate your guts when really they can't get enough of you.

Reply:Everything that they said, but shyish guys don't flirt. I would know im one of them. If you see a guy a guy you like give him a seductive look like your posing for playboy and just go up to him and grab his crotch.

Reply:I don't know about other guys. If I were to flirt with someone, I'd estimate if she's ready for the flirt and then pull her hair, touch the back of her neck, touch her thighs, tickle her, hold her waist or if I am intimate with her, I would caress her breasts.
