The answer depends on your age and experience. Also your comfort level.





First is talk to him. Get to know what he likes and does not like. Pay attention to him, make sure he knows your interested in him and that your availible. Ask about his hobbies or what he does with his spare time. Talk to him, on the phone or in person.





Second, I like a girl to look at my eyes and smile at me. Laugh at my jokes, say nice things about me, such as you have a nice voice, you have nice eyes, good tan, or you have broad shoulders. That's the first step in flirting.





Next is touching. Sit or stand close. Now you have to be sensitive , if he backs away, don't keep moving forward. back off or you will lose him. Talk some more, then try to get closer again.





A light, accidental touch to start with. A hand on the arm, just for a second. Then remove it. Touch the back of his hand or his face, again go slow. Depending on how old and experienced you are, you may wait a while on the touching part. Just talking is fine.
