How do you flirt without being too obvious?

im 13 and i have liked this guy for 2 years now and i dont know how to flirt. i am in the "popular group" so i guess i am good lookin.. i dont know, anyways he is a total flirt and flirts with all my friends and it kind of bothers me cause i get jealous easily. well he is always flirtin with my best friend and she knows i like him and she doesnt really try to stop him, she tries to get his attention on me by sayin i look cute or my hair looks really good and stuff which is totally sweet. she said that all last night too which was appreciated she was like "kay, your hair looks so cute i really like it like that" and then my crush was like "me too" but i dont know if he was kiddin or not cause he is known to be the class clown type guy, he is the typical "popular"teenage guy so i dont know if that would be a considered a serious compliment. so how can i be sure he is flirtin and if so how do i flirt back?

like if he ever teases u when u r walking, just nudge him over and give ur response. when u do this he will probably look at you and if he does glance to ur right then back at him and smile while doing that, or he might nudge u back. be careful though, if it's in a hallway (or other place where they're are more than 10 people in a crowded place) don't nudge him in some1's way. another way is just be nice and talk to him. if he starts to flirt just flirt right back at him. also if he flirts with ur friends just join the conversation and start to flift with him. if u go to join a conversation either be directly in front of him, or if some1 is already there stand or sit next to him and be like really close or touching arm or shoulders. now my fingers hurt from typing so that's all i will say to do right now. e-mail me if u want anymore help.

for example instead of saying "when's the next football game?"





try saying "so, you going to the football game, i hear ___ is going to win" that way he will know that you truly care and will develop a conversation

Take it easy u r only 13 and you stiil have a lot of time in school to find out more about him or find another guy just because you to are in the same clique doesnt mean its meant to be... believe me I have had a crush for more than 8 yrs. and he still a mystery to me...
