How to flirt? please help me!!!?

I don't know how to flirt with the quiet shy guy I really like! I can easily flirt with open guys, but I figured a shy guy would just run off or get scared. I want to know how to flirt with a shy guy and how what does a shy guy do to flirt? He's shy so it will be hard to tell i know, because they don't wanna get shot down. how do I do this!

Coming from a guy who was shy It's easy to say that any attention you give him will begin to open him up. If you see this guy frequently at parties, school work, wherever, just Begin talking to him. No flirting will be needed. His biggest fear is that if he was to open up to you he would get shut down, that is why he's shy. Begin by just expressing your interest in him. Say something straight forward like, I see you here at school every day and I thought you should know that I think you're cute, And if you want we should go out some time. If he accepts, Agree to a date where you can be alone and not with a group of friends. He will feel less shy and awkward about opening up to you if its just the two of you. Have a nice casual dinner and take in a movie. That is a great comfortable first date for the shy guy. Dinner is for talking, this is where you try your hardest to get him to open up and talk to you, the movie is for quiet contact time. If he likes you don't expect him to be gutsy and hold your hand or put his arm around you. Drop any pre-conceived notions that the guy should be the aggressor and make the move yourself. It's what he's wanting but remember he's shy and he's afraid that you are going to freak out and leave him standing at the ticket line if he even touches you. Long story short You will have to initiate most everything.
